Soup 500ml
Authentic soup with plenty of bonito flakes
Shokunin Shoyu No. 3036
For those who care about additive-free products
This is a genuine additive-free soup made with plenty of stock that has been slowly extracted by artisans using pressed bonito flakes from Shizuoka and Kochi prefectures, and long-aged soy sauce brewed in a wooden barrel, seasoned with sugar and mirin.
It has a natural flavor, with a rich bonito aroma, a not-too-salty soy sauce flavor, and a rich sweetness. It can be used straight or diluted in cooking. It is a truly versatile seasoning that can be used to enhance ingredients or as a main seasoning.
From Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture to the world
Tohoku has cultivated a food culture that continues to challenge itself after overcoming the Great East Japan Earthquake. Based on the concept of conveying the results of this to the whole country, the Ministry of Reconstruction organized a food excavation event called "Top 10 Ultimate Souvenirs that Can Be Used Worldwide," and "The Taste of a Long-Established Brewery" was selected as one of the top 10 from 496 entries. The taste of Sasanaga Brewery, which has been created with the motto of quality first, and with ancient history and new technology in the midst of blessed nature, is sure to be a welcome souvenir from Japan.
Make a variety of soups to your preferred thickness
The basic mentsuyu is diluted 4 to 6 times. The soup, which is rich in bonito stock, remains rich even when diluted, and you can enjoy its umami and sweet flavor.
For traditional soup, we recommend simple seasonings such as spring onion and sesame. For soba soup, try making it a little thicker, and for tempura soup, try diluting it with grated daikon juice instead of adding water. Please try it with the thickness you like.
Also great for stews and rice bowls
The concentrated soup can be used for a variety of dishes other than soup just by diluting it with water. It is also great for simmered dishes and rice bowls, taking advantage of the flavor and sweetness of the bonito.
Even simmered dishes that require a lot of ingredients and time-consuming preparation, like simmered dishes, can be made easily by seasoning them with soup. If you want to make another dish with leftover ingredients, you can make it quickly by simply diluting it.
