Pilgrimages to Ise Shrine and Ise udon. When the sauce was developed around 1965, requests for product development began pouring in, with people asking, "Then, can you make products like this too?" "By seriously taking on each project, we have accumulated know-how, and the technical level of our staff has naturally improved," says President Nishimura Mami.
"I think that 'normal' is the best. The ideal cycle would be one in which the normal state is improved through trial and error, and a new 'normal' is created," says Nishimura. "But I can't do anything! (laughs) All the staff are working hard, and that's what I rely on more than anything."
